I WAS TOLD OF MEN WITH HUMANITY

I was told of men with humanity,
But I’ve never seen men nor seen humanity.
I’ve seen a lot of men astonishingly different from one another.
Each separated from each other by a space without humans.

Fernanda Pessoa

In that space without humans she exists
And through her eyes I have seen humans and humanity.
I’ve seen how a lot of humans treat each other astonishingly differently.
Each separated from each other by not seeing through her eyes.
