SHADOW

 

जिस कमी का एहसास न था
उसके आने से पूरी हो गयी
फ़िज़ूल लगती थी जो बातें
अब कैसे इतनी जरुरी हो गयी

हमें खुद से न उम्मीद कोई
फिर कैसे वो आस बन गए
जहान के लिए तो अब भी वही
फिर कैसे उनके खास बन गए

जरुरत से ज्यादा वक़्त लगा
इतनी से बात समझने में
एक नदी के छोर है दोनों
इस गुत्थी को सुलझने में

कैसे तलाश करें खुद को
हम तो उसका ही साया है
अब चाहे कुछ बने या बिगड़े
उसका ही सरमाया है

Unaware of the spaces
You filled and completed
The most trivial of routines
Stay filled with richness.

Expectations lowliness
Replaced by growing hope,
Always deeply present:
A Muses shared journey.

Moving slowly towards
A simplified meaning,
Turning but not meeting
Like a riverbank puzzle.

How do I find my voice
When I am in Shadow?
In uncertainties quest
Our outcomes live on.
