ABSENCE IN PRESENCE: PRESENCE IN ABSENCE

Singhal, P. (2018) Transforming Together: Movement Beyond Boundaries: Translated by Scanlon. D.  The Foolish Poet Press, Wilmslow, England. ABSENCE IN PRESENCE: PRESENCE IN ABSENCE. Page Number 37.

Being away from your gaze, but alive in thoughts, you are ever present but absent.
You induced a re-birth, a finding of me through you, ever present but absent.

Within life’s misfiring hearing and seeing
Tears and laughter overwhelm our being.
Then her heart opens,
Our self-pity broken,
Transformation of sadness into joy, you are never absent but present.

When love gets lost in the goings-on of life,
Trapped within, whatever we try ends in strife:
Turned moments on pages
Appear wrapped for all ages;
Oh voice without words, you speak of our hearts, ever absent now present.

Being within her music, and alive in her being, she is never absent but present
She gives birth to words, a finding of me in you, ever absent now present.
