It is beyond words, cannot sum up in phrase
It is not a lifetime, yet a critical phase

Without making promises, without taking oath
Realizing our emptiness, it has filled us both

It is neither love nor friendship, above such limitations
Pure, true, selfless, an acceptance without expectations

It cannot be taught or learned, just experienced and seen
It is not in me, not in you, it remains in- between
